Top Notch Heating and Air is a local, black owned, and female operated HVAC company serving the Metro Atlanta area. Gordon Knaeble is the licensed holder for Top Notch Heating and Air. He currently has the Non Restricted Conditioned Air License in the state of Georgia, meaning that his company can do anything within the HVAC world in Georgia. He also has 13 years experience in the HVAC industry along with the combined 30 years experience within the excellent team behind him.
Locally Owned
Gordon worked in the industry for 7-8 years before he started his own company. He worked for a large Heating and Air outfit in the Daytona Beach area for two years before moving to Georgia and began employment at Grady Health System. At Grady Health Systems, Gordon was one of the HVAC and Building Automation techs. He was assigned multiple floors to maintain the heating and air, assigned the operating rooms heating and air, negative pressure rooms, and more. He worked at Grady for five years, and while working there obtained his Non Restricted Conditioned Air license in Georgia, BOMI Certifications, Control Certifications, and more. At the age of 32, he decided it was time to start his own company and use what he learned at Grady to create his own path.

Ketonya Knaeble, Gordon’s wife and business partner, runs Top Notch Heating and Air alongside Gordon. After 12 years of experience in property and account management, she decided to quit her job and partner with her husband to support his dream of starting an HVAC company. Together they have grown and built an amazing brand that stands on honesty, integrity, and efficiency at a great price. As an outstanding team, they have garnered trust from their service areas surrounding metro Atlanta and North Georgia with the spectacular addition of a new Tampa, FL location offering residential HVAC services in late 2023!
